Would you use Rental or Trained pokemon?
I would use Trained Pokemon, but I've learn to used Rental Pokemon as I no longer have a way to use my team.
P.S. In before Raichu's Thead.

I prefer my trained Pokemon. I've compared stats between my level 100 Gengar, and the rental version. It turned out that my trained Gengar's stats dominate compared to the rental. Don't worry Houka, somtimes we have to use the rentals anyways, even though we'd prefer not to.

I did the same thing with a Lv. 80 Mewtwo. Althrough, I had to rely on Mewtwo mostly because most of my other pokemon were at Lv. 70 or below. I do have to say I've learn how to take down Mewtwo with just two pokemon and Rentals or good for R1 but I advise that you use trained pokemon with high Special Defence in R2.

Even though I've never used trained pokemon myself simply bc I didn't have the attachment, when you use trained pokemon atleast you have the moves that you want whereas rentals are pretty shitty.

Lol, you can say that again. Take my Gengar example for instance. When I compare my Gengar with the rental; My Gengar seems to kill it in moves. Mine knows: Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Night Shade. The rental, however, knows: Confuse Ray, Hypnosis, Night Shade, and Thunderbolt. Notice the awkward selection. None of the moves go together. The only two moves worth using on the rental are Hight Shade and Thunderbolt. Still, the stats are also way lower on rentals.

Definitely trained Pokemon. For a few reasons...
1.) I can change the nickname of the Pokemon (as long as I didn't trade it from a different Pokemon game of mine).
2.) If I trade for a Pokemon, and if it's at a low level, then I'd get a low level traded Pokemon. And if I want it high, then I have a reason to keep the high level Pokemon. I'd like rented Pokemon more if it was a chosen level, instead of same level as traded one.
EDIT: Laugh at me please... for I thought you were talking about the general Pokemon games. I've never even played Stadium.
