"If you are familiar with the highly anticipated game for the Wii System. Then you are probably talking about the one and only, Super Smash Bros Brawl; coming in February 10th 2008. With the game's recent delay, the gamer veterans have been awe struck with the updates given on the official site. As for now, we can only wait and ponder of what is to come. If you have anything related with Brawl, then make a thread and contribute to this section. I know well, that I am not the only individual anxious to hear about Brawl. Are You Ready to Brawl?!"

"Yet again, we are given a crappy ass update; making it the second consecutive week of familiar objects we already know of."
"Today's update deals with the return of taunts for each character; but hold on to your placenta's! Now there is up to three distinctive taunts! This may be an astonishing revelation, but as for many it was a real downer. Videos online depict this as confirmed as of E For All's Showcase in Los Angeles."
"We have not had a decent update since, but there has been a rumor or so I been told. That a coming convention will celebrate Megaman's 20 anniversary. A special guest has been invited to it, but no information regards the individual. Perhaps, these updates are hiding the big mama. Megaman (Rockman) may be joining the roster as an exclusive third party character."

Update On Wed/ November 14, 2007.
Handicap
"Well it seems this update was at least decent. The return of handicap matches felt inevitable, but there was something everyone overlooked."
So until now, I’ve always made sure to include handicaps in each game in the series.
"Sakurai made this interesting point, leading many to believe that Ness will in fact without a doubt return in Brawl. This raises the hopes of many Earthbound Fans, whom strongly suggest a possible new moveset in Ness. With Lucas's similar moves, Nintendo will in fact make some changes with Ness's founding moves."

"As if we already didn't know. Sakurai went on today to explain Meta knight's move set once more. With the updates being given now a days, it seems as if its all leading to a big surprise on either this Friday or the coming Monday. With word on the coming convention this Saturday; let us all hope that we get word on a coming individual we all know as Megaman."
"Also, Sakurai added a new song for the Halbert Stage. The remix of "Kirby: Meta Knight’s Revenge" Its interesting to note that he has indeed been showing off more of Metaknight than any other character. Does he have something up his sleeve? Or is he just enjoying the sense of teasing the Smash Fan Base. Who knows! Only time will tell."

"Well Folks, with the given break I have; I can make use of the updates. The story is simple; we have not been given what we wanted. Nintendo is taking their sweet time. Since the delay, the updates have been a yawn. Well wait no further! With December coming quick; we might have a character confirmation soon!"
"Well I might as reveal and start posting the images; as to show you much efficiently. Typing can also cost a yawn so without a due! Here's to this week's updates!"
"Ta-da!' Nov. 23 Fri. 2007 Lucas: Final Smash Characters <PK Starstorm> Lucas’s Final Smash is PK Starstorm! It’s a move in which he unleashes a rapid barrage of meteorlike PSI power. After a fierce battle, he gets the Smash Ball! P...K.... STARRRRRRRRSTORRRRRRRRRM! As the star storm continues, the tension increases. They all rain down at once. Can you possibly escape it?! It may be that it’s less advantageous on larger stages and more advantageous on smaller ones. There are a variety of moves like this that have clear advantages and disadvantages depending on the terrain. Nov. 23 Fri. 2007 Charged Special Moves How to Play Mastering the chargeable subset of special moves is important. Take the following moves, for example. Link’s Standard Special Move: The Hero’s Bow Pikachu’s Side Special Move: Skull Bash These moves can be charged up by holding down the special-move button, increasing both speed and power. If you press the button down firmly and then release, you’ll unleash the move at full strength! When you first try out a character you aren’t familiar with, this should be the first thing you try. But, there are also some moves that continue charging even after you release the button... Huh??? DK’s Standard Special Move: Giant Punch Samus’s Standard Special Move: Charge Shot ...among others. For these moves, when you press the special-move button again, it unleashes the move at the power level you charged it to. Also, with these moves, you can move around while charged by charging the move to the maximum limit or by pressing the shield button to cancel the charge. Look! Smoke shoots out from his head when he’s reached maximum charge! Do your best to build up the maximum charge, then unleash it at just the right moment! These are superimportant techniques for characters like DK and Samus. Don’t forget them.

Saki Amamiya
Saki Amamiya appears from Sin & Punishment: Successor to the Earth! This title is currently available via the Virtual Console.
Saki stands on solid ground!
He uses his weapon, the Cannon Sword, which combines a sword and a gun into one to slice and shoot!
He cuts repeatedly without mercy!
And shows off his magnificent jump!
Take this!!
As with the original title, he speaks in English.
He rivals just about any main character. There were many requests from users for his inclusion, and he IS pretty cool, so I did what I could to include him. After all, this game does let you enjoy a dream cast of supporting characters!
H-he has absolutely no problem fitting in!

Smart Bomb
This familiar item is from the Star Fox series. Those who have played those games can imagine how this bomb explodes.
Throw the Smart Bomb, Fox!
Don’t get caught in the explosion, Fox!
Hurry, Fox! Run!
This fearsome item practically covers entire stages in a massive, engulfing explosion. It’s best to try to use it in a spot that leaves few places for enemies to flee. Or something like that.
It does seem that they occasionally fail to explode. You might throw it, only to watch it not detonate. In those cases, you’ll want to be careful, because you never know when it might go off.
Speaking of duds, certain Pokémon that explode also sometimes fail to detonate.
Pssssssst.

Training
If you brawl for a long time, there is one thing you will definitely start to think: "What can I do that will help me be able to win?"
For that, I’ve implemented a training mode to help you get to know the characters.
At first glance, nothing about this screen seems unusual.
Bothersome displays are hidden at first. The settings screen appears when you pause the game.
Oh! There it is!
You can produce lots of items.
You can put in three computer opponents, and jack their damage meters way up.
And you can see how much damage different combos do.
You can even put it in slow motion. (But...you can’t tell that from a screen shot.)

Ice Climbers: Final Smash <Iceberg> The Ice Climbers’ Final Smash is Iceberg! Calling it Iceberg is a bit problematic. I mean, it’s not like... Ahh! I guess Iceberg IS about all you can call this! When you get the Smash Ball and do your move... The duo does a high-five, and... CRRRRRSSSSSSHHHHH! It happens even in the big city, just like this... Ice doesn’t just make the available ledges smaller and more slippery, but it also damages your opponents! But, of course, the Ice Climbers can handle it no problem. They look as cool and refreshed as ever. Sometimes, you can even freeze opponents. Now that’s just cold! You need to know the moves, whether you’re trying to hit with them or avoid them—this is especially true of Final Smashes. This mode is particularly helpful with that.

"Also due to me not setting up last friday's update; I will simply show yah my moves! Booyah!"Nov. 16 Fri. 2007 Spectator Even among Smash players, there are some people who just aren’t that good at action games. With that in mind, I’ve been thinking about how I can convey the fun of Smash to newcomers. I’ve been thinking about this type of thing since long before I joined this industry. So, for this game, I’ve prepared a new kind of mode. It’s called Spectator, and you’ll find it in the With Anyone menu. If I had to describe it in a word, it’s "watching!" You can enjoy watching matches between other people! This mode is a service where Nintendo uses Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to send the data for games played between other people to every Smash household. Match selection is handled automatically, and absolutely no names of any players can be seen. It feels like there’s a continuous broadcast of matches on your television! Even if you don’t play, you can enjoy the battles of other characters! And at the beginning of each match, you can even bet coins on the character you think will win. I’ll bet some coins. I’ve got a winner! Glean what hints you can from the stages and combatants and try to deduce the winner. Of course, if your pick wins, your coin count will increase! And the more players in a match, the higher the payout. There may even be extra prizes. Even if you lose, you can get some stickers. Just to make sure there’s no mistaking that just watching a match can be fun, we’ll be passing out stickers left and right. For those of you who want to cooperate with our data collection for Spectator mode, set Allow Spectators to Yes in your Wi-Fi Options. This will result in your play data occasionally being sent to Nintendo. This setting is in your Wi-Fi Options. The content that is broadcast is the same for everyone spectating (if your connection timing is the same), so it should be fun to have people in different environments watch and cheer the same match. To be shocked by impressive play, or to bust a gut laughing at some accident will be quite fun! Perhaps you can use it as reference for your own matches. Hopefully this mode is something that even people who aren’t good at games can enjoy.

"It seems that Sakurai has ran out of ideas from this perspective. He introduces to us the four controls that were originally known to be in use earlier this year. No worries though, I am sure we will receive an awesome update, once we reach December! So here we go!" Nov. 26 Mon. 2007 ControlsIf you use the Controls function under Options, you can assign controls to any button configuration you like. First, input a name. What’s important to know is that button configurations must be tied to a specific name. Once you do that, any time you choose that name afterward, you’ll automatically play with the button settings you chose. One name can handle controls for four controllers. Even a GameCube Controller! Even an NES-style Wii Remote! Even a Classic Controller! Even the Nunchuk! ...Huh? What’s that thing that says "Shake Smash" under Nunchuk? With this function, you just shake the Wii Remote to do a Smash Attack in the direction you shook it. It’s a little bonus we added. Also, if you turn Tap Jump off, you can cut the jump function out of the up direction on the Control Stick. This means it’s easier to do an up attack without jumping into the air. Use whichever way you prefer. Then try it out! Do it to your heart’s content. Try to find the perfect button combination! But, if you decide to play Smash at a friend’s house, your button configuration naturally won’t be there. And trying to set it up all over again is sort of a pain. I didn’t miss this detail, though. Press the + Button on the name list to open the menu. When the menu screen pops up, press and hold both the 1 Button and the 2 Button. After a moment, your name will be saved to the Wii Remote. Of course, you can expect your control settings to carry over along with your name! Button settings are transferred by way of the Wii Remote. Pack your name into your Wii Remote and transfer it the Wii at your friend’s house. Then choose that name to play with your button configuration. Wow. I hate to say it, but we really have thought of everything.

Nov. 27 Tue. 2007 Widescreen Support This title, like most Wii titles, supports widescreen display. In other words, you can enjoy the game with full display across televisions with wider screens, too. This is standard display. This is widescreen display. The border off the screen that cues a KO is the same for both. Choose the display mode that matches the TV you have at home. But some people may not know if they have a normal TV or widescreen TV, and may not even know what difficult terminology like 4:3 or 16:9 means. Right? Who knows all that stuff? So, all you have to do is check the circle that appears in the background on the screen where you choose your display setting. This is the correct standard ratio. This is the correct widescreen ratio. The two shots above... Wrong. Being able to just look at the image and know if you got your settings right is pretty huge, huh? Ah, yes. If your television has screen-size settings called Wide and Full, set your TV to Full. If you choose Wide, there is a chance the image may be shifted toward the center of the screen. Nov. 27 Tue. 2007Donkey Kong "Donkey Kong" (0:54) Composition Supervisor: Yukio Kaneoka Arrangement Supervisor: Hirokazu Tanaka. Ex • The copyright for this music is held by Nintendo. • Check your volume settings. He is the mainstay who has built Nintendo sound since the days of Game & Watch: Hirokazu Tanaka. He wasn’t included on the list of musicians until now, but he secretly joined the fray! And then there’s this arrangement of the original Donkey Kong theme. It has gone in the direction of the unexpected, becoming completely different from the work of the other musicians. You’ve got to hear it! "Well it seems that this here's updates are coming out to be pretty interesting for the most part. Let's see what we will have in store on Monday!"

Nov. 28 Wed. 2007 Wario: Final Smash<Wario-Man> Wario’s Final Smash is Wario-Man! Eat garlic! Wario-Man! Even after becoming Wario-Man, you control him as you normally would. And he doesn’t unleash any overwhelmingly powerful attacks. But he is able to negate a variety of moves and boasts some rather odd abilities... Punch to pummelpummelpummelpummel! It’s a sideways-sliding shoulder tackle! His midair moves make him fly?! His special moves are also powered up, but the one thing you can’t do is ride his bike. Don’t do it. This may seem like a joke, but you absolutely must not ride it. Tooooooo faaaaaaaaast!!! "Wario is indeed a little too fast! Wow! How will we be able to use that move to an extent?"

Nov. 29 Thu. 2007 Events
It’s the return of Events! This is a single-player mode in which you battle through predetermined situations. This is the Events selection screen. Oh! The pictures make it easy to understand. And it has different difficulty settings! For these, a harder setting is probably more exciting, but you can go ahead and set it however you like. For example, you’ll find these kinds of situations: Two Trouble Kings Character: Mario Bowser and King Dedede battle as a team! And Mario stands alone against them. Pink Ball Repulsion Character: Meta Knight Kirby must not be allowed on the Battleship Halberd! Blast Kirby off before the platform lands on the Halberd! Cleaning House in Skyworld Character: Pit Destroy all the terrain in Skyworld! Wario both gets in the way and helps out? Sleeping in the Eggs Character: Yoshi Using Yoshi’s Egg Lay standard special move, put both enemies inside eggs simultaneously! Dark Link Duel Character: Link It’s a fated battle with your own shadow. This is a stamina based match. High scores are recorded for each challenge at each difficulty level. You don’t just clear these challenges—competing for time will magnify the fun. Enjoy Smash’s chance meetings between a variety of characters! "Wow, Event Mode is back and looking better than ever. How many events will it cover this time you say? Well you are just going to have to find out until the date Brawl arrives! Unfortunately, the date was moved back till February 11, 2008. Well it just goes to show, that being patient makes it all that much anticipated. Tally Ho!"
